Dramatic Rescue Action: How did the miracle happen?
On Monday, erstwhile on all the baths in Łeba she was floating red flag signaling an absolute bath ban due to advanced waves and very strong reverse currents, rescuers from Gniewinski Water Volunteer Rescue carried a regular patrol along the shore. Before 4:00 p.m., on 1 of the unguarded beaches, their vigilance allowed them to announcement six drowning people – 5 children aged 11-13 and their guardian. They were all participants in an organized colony, and they were in the water despite highly dangerous conditions.
