In fresh days, residents of Śremu, a quiet town in Wielkopolska, have witnessed dramatic events that have caused a deep stir in the local community. There was a violent fight on the local beach, resulting in 2 men being badly injured and being hospitalized. The perpetrators of this attack were immigrants from South America who were detained by police. These events sparked a wave of outrage among the inhabitants who decided to take matters into their own hands.
Spontaneous reaction of residents – Social patrols are emerging
Immediately after the attack, a group of Śremu residents began organizing alleged "social patrols". This initiative was a grassroots movement to monitor public order and to guarantee safety in the streets of the town. respective twelve people decided to take regular walks around the city, patrolling the area, including areas inhabited by migrants.
