Average fuel prices in Poland stay stable, although in fresh days we have seen small fluctuations. According to analysts, Reflex, if the wholesale marketplace situation does not change rapidly, the prices at petrol stations should not importantly increase or fall any time soon.
Current fuel prices - May 22nd
At 22 May, average retail prices developed as follows:
- Petrol Pb95 – 5.77 PLN/l
- Petrol Pb98 – PLN 6.51/l
- Diesel – PLN 5,75/l
- Autogas (LPG) – 2,91 PLN/l
Interestingly, for the first time in a year Pb95 petrol is more costly than diesel, although the average difference is only 2 gr/l. On many stations diesel is cheaper by up to 10 gr/l – this is simply a typical situation at this time of year.
Forecast at the end of May
Analysts Reflex foretell that in days May 26-30 fuel prices shall be as follows:
- Pb95: PLN 5,75–5,79/l
- Pb98: 6,5-5,55 zł/l
- Diesel: 5,73–5,77 PLN/l
- Autogas: PLN 2,88–2,92/l
What affects oil and fuel prices?
The key origin remains Brent oil listingwhich are kept below 65 USD/barrel, i.e. about $1 cheaper than the closing from the erstwhile week.
