Rafał Brzoska, a well-known entrepreneur, announced the creation of a social deregulation initiative called “We check”. The aim of the task is to simplify government that frequently makes life hard for citizens and entrepreneurs. Anyone can submit their thought for changes that will facilitate the functioning of different areas of life – from the judiciary to wellness care.

"We are checking" is an apolitical task aimed at simplification of Polish law And fighting bureaucratic absurdities. As Rafał Brzoska emphasizes, the initiative is open to all: entrepreneurs, workers, experts, as well as average citizens who face incomprehensible regulations on a regular basis.

  • Reduce the application of penalties in VAT and 50% interest on late payment.
  • Change in aggressive execution practice.
  • Implementation of the work for taxation authorities to comply with the decisions of the TEU favourable to taxpayers.
  1. Amendments to the laws:
  • Stop the abuse by officials of criminal-tax proceedings to suspend the limitation of taxation obligations.
  • VAT exemption for micro companies (increase of threshold to PLN 350 thousand).
  1. Regulations on Artificial Intelligence (AI):
  • Work on AI Act rules to increase the competitiveness of Polish companies in the field of artificial intelligence.
  1. Changes in ESG reporting:
  • Simplification of ESG reporting requirements for companies to facilitate their marketplace functioning.
