LAS VEGAS– A passenger was arrested at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) after becoming aggressive when informed about Allegiant Air’s (G4) $5 boarding pass printing fee. The incident unfolded at the check-in counter, where the traveler refused to pay the fee.
The situation escalated quickly when the man raised his voice, argued with the staff, and ignored repeated instructions to calm down. Allegiant employees contacted airport police, who detained the passenger after he refused to cooperate with security personnel.

Allegiant Air has a strict policy requiring passengers to print their boarding passes at home or download them digitally. If a traveler needs a paper copy at the airport, the carrier charges a $5 fee. The arrested man refused to comply with this policy and challenged the staff at the counter.
According to One Mile at a Time, law enforcement at Harry Reid International Airport responded swiftly after being alerted by Allegiant staff. Officers approached the passenger, who allegedly refused to follow directions and continued to shout at employees and security officers.
When he resisted further attempts to de-escalate the confrontation, officers placed him under arrest. He was escorted out of the terminal without further incident.
Authorities did not disclose whether the man faced additional charges beyond disorderly conduct and failure to comply with airport security protocols.
