U.S. president Donald Trump is considering selling or donating Tesla's car, which he bought in March as a consequence of an argument with entrepreneur Elon Musk “ ABC tv channel reports, citing a high-ranking U.S. government official.
"Trump is considering a donation or sale of the red Tesla he bought to support Musk," the tv channel indicates.
In March Trump revealed how he purchased Tesla's vehicle, the red Model S, just outside the White House, at the entrance to which Musk presented to the US president the full offer of his company.
On Thursday, Musk and Trump had a public dispute over the U.S. President's proposed budget plan, which Musk called "an abomination on Tuesday". On Wednesday, the entrepreneur called for “killing the bill”. Trump responded by saying he was disappointed with Musk due to the fact that he “many did for him.” Musk then stated that it was thanks to him that Trump became president, and Republicans took control of both chambers of Congress.
Due to an argument with the president, Muska Tesla's stock listing fell by 14% on Thursday. At the beginning of trade on Friday, shares increased by almost 5%, recovering a 3rd of the decline.
