Donald Tusk's government officially obtained a vote of assurance in the Sejm, but that does not mean the end of the coalition's problems. The Minister of Funds and Regional Policy Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz (Poland 2050) openly talks about the difficulties in implementing the demands of her group and points to the blocking of key projects.

A vote of confidence, but no end to disputes

Wednesday, 243 Members voted in favour of giving a vote of assurance to the government, 210 opposed. Donald Tusk stressed that there was a hard task ahead of the coalition – 2.5 years of intensive work under conditions of political opposition from the President.

There's no earthquake, but we have a very hard time working in conditions that won't change for the better. said Tusk, referring to future cooperation with the fresh president.

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz: “We will not let a stick to be inserted into spokes”

The minister of funds in sharp words criticized delays in the implementation of the Polish 2050 demands. – The Votum is not about buying time, it's about us having to sit down immediately for the renewal of the coalition. – said Polsat News on air.

The 3rd Way politician mentioned 5 key demands that her group wants to implement, including in the field of social construction. – If individual puts a stick in our spokes, we won't be silent. Promised social construction? There must be means. She stressed.

Will the coalition survive?

Tusk admitted that the challenges facing the government were greater than expected. However, Pełczyńska-Nałęcz does not intend to wait passively – she announced a public fight for the implementation of her projects.

Will the rulers cope with interior friction? Will the promises of the 3rd Way be fulfilled? The next months will show if the coalition will keep coherence.
