According to a survey conducted by IBRiS for “Rzeczpospolita”, most respondents (53.5%) believe that the benefits of Poland’s membership of the European Union outweigh the disadvantages. For 24.7% of respondents, the advantages and disadvantages are equivalent, while 16.7% say the disadvantages prevail.
Moreover, 32% of those surveyed believe that EU membership brings clear benefits and 21.3% consider them beneficial. At the same time, 24.7% of the disadvantages and advantages balance. On the another hand, 5.8% of respondents believe that this membership brings decisive disadvantages, and 10.9% think that it is alternatively flaws. Additionally, 5.2% of respondents could not decide.
The results of the survey indicate a decrease in Polish enthusiasm for European integration compared to erstwhile years. From November 2020, there has been a decline by almost 11 percent points among euro enthusiasts, while an increase by about 9 percent points of people who see a balance between advantages and disadvantages.

According to the Rzeczpospolita, the attitude towards the European Union is now powerfully linked to political preferences. Almost all Citizens' Platform voters (94%) are enthusiasts of European integration, while only 17% of Law and Justice voters show a akin attitude. This is simply a clear change compared to the situation 3 years ago. Experts are besides amazed that the EU is more afraid about green proposals, frequently surviving in smaller towns and with lower incomes. The anti-EU rhetoric of the ruling organization besides affects this situation.
With respect to the benefits of EU membership, open borders of the associate States (45.2%), EU funds (20.6%), improvement of Poland's safety (18.9%) and the anticipation of learning abroad (3.7%) are most frequently exchanged. Among the disadvantages, the biggest problems are the law imposed by Brussels (33.8%), the unequal treatment associated with the EU of individual associate States (30.5%), the issue of migration (12.5%) and the perception of Poles as a cheaper labour force (4.6%).
