At the end of November We wrotethat the Minister of Justice in the government of Donald Tusk, Waldemar Żurek met in the building of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, with a group of highly left-wing activists. At the time, we did not know the background of these talks and above all, what their goal was. Now we know. This case continues described reliable writer Marcin Dobski.
Żurek wants to intervene in courts and defend left-wing activists. As an aggressive activist, known by the pseudonym “Grandmother Kasia” revealed on social media, during the meeting, Zurk's mouth was to be given promises of a favorable settlement of court cases against them.
The entry of Catherine Augustinek, known as ‘Grandmother Kasia’, can be regarded as an act of insolence. It was foreseeable that the public's admission that the government wanted to influence judicial decisions against its own activists would provoke outrage. Still, she thought it was a good idea. As it turns out, the Ministry of Justice took a different approach to the matter, as in consequence to questions from journalists, it stated that specified cases were not discussed at the meeting.
The discrepancy in the coverage of the gathering did not escape the attention of net users. As 1 of them concluded, “Both sides are telling the truth. They did not discuss anything at the meeting, but promised to call.” Augustinek said in her entry that "to the people on the list, I say from the list of invited streetwalkers, they will call".
“Time flows relentlessly, and I lose and I pay, I pay, I pay... but I don’t cry anymore, I have nothing. present I am making a transfer to PLN 1180 (not PLN 1200, as my detention was generously valued at PLN 20) before the very holidays, thank you from the full smiling heart. Another large disappointment, I will no longer fall for the smooth words of the rulers, respective times enough. Mr. Minister, Prosecutors and Judges want as beautiful a Christmas as mine” – regrets “Grandmother Kasia”.
Clearly, the request to comply with law and to be subject to criminal sanctions is for any lower caste of citizens, and for pro-government activists there should be complete impunity.
Let us remind: about 20 people were to attend the gathering with representatives of the Ministry of Justice, according to the study of Catherine Augustinek. These were representatives of various organizations, specified as Abortion Without Borders, the Free Prosecutor's Office or the Open dialog Foundation.
