Hollywood manager Rob Reiner and his wife Michele were found dead at their home in Brentwood, California. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported that the incidental is being investigated for probable homicide.

The authorities who responded to the medical call found the body of 78-year-old Reiner and his 68-year-old wife at their home on Sunday.

TMZ and People reported they sustained wounds indicative of a knife attack.

LAPD's lead detective, Alan Hamilton, said on Sunday evening that investigators were not actively looking for any fishy or individual likely to be a threat in the course of the investigation.

He added that the police questioned household members, stressing that ‘No 1 has been detained’ and that ‘No 1 is being questioned as a suspect’.

However, there is speculation that the perpetrator may be the boy of a couple, Nick, according to People magazine, a popular American weekly dedicated to celebrities.

According to later reports, he is being interrogated by the police, although he has not been confirmed to be officially a suspect.
