The Border defender expelled from Poland a 28-year-old Ukrainian citizen and a 32-year-old Georgian citizen after they had been punished at the Chełm Penal Institution. The first was given a five-year, second seven-year ban on entry into the Schengen area. The State carried out its primary obligation: after the judgments, it removed persons deemed to be a threat to public policy.

Two decisions made after having served the penalty

On September 10, the officers of the Nadbuzhany Border defender Branch informed of the expulsion of 2 foreigners previously incarcerated at the Chełma Penal Institution. They both left Poland after issuing decisions requiring them to return to immediate feasibility. A Ukrainian citizen was transferred to the services of his state in Dorohusk. A Georgian citizen was escorted to the airport and flew to his country.

Both men's nationality was given by the service and is part of the return decisions. However, work for the actions committed remains individual. It's not charging any nation. The State is to measure a peculiar individual on the basis of the law, judgments and threats posed by his/her stay.

Stealing and drugs, then 5 years' ban

The first 1 expelled was a 28-year-old Ukrainian citizen. According to the authoritative message of the Nadbuzhany Border defender Branch He was serving imprisonment in Chełma for many shoplifting and was previously punished for possession of narcotics. He besides appears on the list of persons whose stay in Poland is unwanted.

The NOSG commander considered his continued stay a threat to safety and public order. He issued a return decision and banned a man from entering the full Schengen area for 5 years. Upon completion of the procedures, officers transported him to the border crossing in Dorohusk.

Intoxicated behind the wheel despite bans

The second decision afraid a 32-year-old Georgian citizen. The man was punished, among another things, for driving an intoxicated car and driving a vehicle despite judicial bans. He was previously besides convicted of causing a road accident after alcohol. Border defender reported that he was staying in Poland illegally.

In his case, the ban on re-entry into the Schengen area shall be 7 years. The longer period corresponds to the repetition of behaviour that straight exposed another traffic participants. Drunk driver ignoring court rulings is not an abstract migration problem. This is simply a concrete threat to the lives of people on Polish roads.

Security requires decisions made

The administrative decision itself does not defend anyone if it remains in the authoritative folder. The meaning of this case is to close the full procedure: the punishment was passed, the Border defender conducted proceedings, the bans were entered into the system, and foreigners actually left the country. Similar expulsions show that the state can enforce the law against safety-threatening persons.

Poland has the right to decide who may be in its territory. It is besides required to remove foreigners who commit serious crimes, ignore judgments or stay illegal. Over a 1000 return decisions previously issued by the Border Guard shows the scale of the task. However, performance is crucial due to the fact that the safety of Poles does not supply statistics. They are provided by an efficient and consistent state.
