Who does the Church want to conduct dialog with in Poland?

On 27 June this year, a Polish-Ukrainian ecumenical breakfast was held in the Polish Parliament, preceded by a common prayer in the Sejm chapel. The event was organised by Paweł Kowal, associate of the Committee on abroad Affairs, in cooperation with the Catholic Information Agency.

The gathering took place with the participation of the superiors and delegates of the Churches from Poland and Ukraine, representatives of parliaments of both countries, diplomats, experts and civic circles. Marcin Przeciszewski, president of KAI stressed that this was the first event of specified rank and at this level with a visit of leaders of Churches and spiritual organizations from Ukraine, as well as Ukrainian parliamentarians, and expressed hope that this would contribute to learning the crucial function of Churches during the war, their authority in society. He besides mentioned that in the context of the upcoming anniversary of the Volyn tragedy, this is an chance to give reflection on the request to strengthen common dialog and reconciliation processes and concrete actions in this area.

It is good that there is talk of reconciliation at advanced levels, and yet it is hard to overcome interior opposition in Poles. Why? Well, the success of politicians and the media in bloating and obscuring human minds in order to deprive them of their own reasoning and creativity is influenced by many factors, and 1 of them is the plan of the doctrine of dialog to effectively influence proprioception, or deep feeling in people. However, the consequence of embarrassing errors in Polish politics and scandalous, arrogant statements by Ukrainian politicians about genocide in Poles, blocking exhumation Victims of this genocide, etc., have created an atmosphere that hurts the deepest feelings of Poles, and “ukropolian” politicians do not completely number with these feelings. For this reason, if the Ukrainians do not stand in the fact and make gestures of compensation required by Poles, no real reconciliation will be possible.

Never! Proprioception according to the medical definition is simply a sense that allows us to feel the position and movements of our body and its individual parts. Thanks to it, people are aware of the position of their limbs, can make precise movements without looking, and besides keep a balance. Referring to physiology in a broad context, which includes the mechanics of deep feeling, it is clear that the awareness of harm in the Polish nation does not let for the accomplishment of interior harmony and makes the present meetings "conciliatory" of the Polish-Ukrainian establishment nothing more than artificial and suspected in its intentions a political creation. The balance between the requirements of the human body and of reason and spirituality must be preserved, otherwise man will always endure interior disharmony.

As the priest utilized to say Prof. Józef Tischner: there are no truths that are not discussed, so dialog with Ukrainians, Jews, Germans or others is of course needed, and even necessary, in terms of the doctrine of dialogue, politicians and spiritual leaders should appeal to wise people alternatively than invent it “on their knees” for the needs of the moment.

According to the Polish language dictionary, the word “philosophy of dialogue, meetings” means: “a direction in contemporary doctrine which considers communication with another man, God, the world, which is possible by treating them as partners in dialogue”.

A prominent Polish philosopher and priest Joseph Tischner claimed: “Dialogue means that people have come out of hiding places, come closer to each other, have begun to exchange words. The beginning of the dialog – the exit from the hideout – is already a large event. You request to lean, cross the threshold, scope out your hand, find a common place to talk.”

During the martial law, priest Tischner conducted a series of lectures for students directing drama in the Krakow PWST and familiarized young people with doctrine Frederick Nietzsche, Martin Heidegger and Emmanuel Lévinas And others. The interest in the priest's lectures was so large that as the circles grew larger and larger, the then authorities of the Polish People's Republic felt anxious, began to pile up obstacles and to request that the priest's meetings with the academic community be limited.

What was so dangerous about the teachings of this philosopher that to this day the words of philosophers specified as Fr. Pope John Paul II Is the veil of silence being lowered or rejected? – It seems that the main danger of believing in sneaky mating, materialism and achieving their goals through devastating wars of each of them, has been seen in creating a space of Christian dialog between people!

The real, only meaningful dialog is not just about agreeing positions, about who will be the top, but about expanding the field of view, looking beyond the end of his own nose and uncovering a point of balance which according to. John Nash It is possible to do what is good for us and for everyone. A chain of links between people and institutions must be created for the common good. Additionally, in groups tiny and large, specified as nations, appropriate habits must be created. Today, this is not the case in Ukraine, and it is not the best in Poland, due to the fact that for decades the "dwarfs" have been working hard to guarantee that society and the Church are divided as much as possible.

The dominant principles became: “eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth”, an attitude towards materialism (holders, egoists are winners), not spirituality (spiritual people, friendly people, devoted to others, altruists are losers), armed attack, armed resistance, all war, besides spiritual war without God, but with the name of God on bloody banners. This besides applies to those who reject, as irrational, the existence of supernatural beings, including God and proclaiming atheism and anthropocentrism.

Worldview developed by Ayn Rand besides called objectivity is characterized by atheism, praise for selfishness and individualism, acceptance for nonsubjective reality, designation as a origin of cognition only recognizes reason and logic, in ethics—only self-interest, and in politics—only capitalism and corporateism. “My philosophy, in fact, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as a moral intent of life, with the attainment of productivity as the noblest activity and reason as the only absolute.” The black-and-white objectivity of Rand according to the rule “eye for eye, tooth for tooth” is besides opposed to all moral compromises, considering them as consenting to evil. However, this perverse ideology, based on human existence alone, had a crucial impact on libertarians and American conservatives.

Some liberals and libertarians today, and especially supporters of extremist ideology of anarchocapitalism and globalism, are eager to draw from objectivity. How ridiculous this concept is to show the example of an American psychotherapist Nathan Blumenthal (Branden) fascinated by Ayan Ryand's theories. On 1 occasion, he suggested to his patient that the neurosis he was suffering from was caused, among another things, by the irrational choice of his spouse, due to the fact that she was a Christian, and his religion in God violated the rule of rationality. The therapist so advised the patient to persuade his wife to atheism or to change partners. Eventually, the patient discontinued the "therapy" due to the fact that he understood what a ridiculous scientist he was dealing with. It is very sad that people frequently usage an incoherent set of beliefs and views taken over from others, as this results in quite a few harm to themselves.

Unfortunately, “objectivism” and another specified “inventions” have importantly influenced cultural changes in the Western world, to which Ukraine is now so insistently and dramatically aspiring to sacrifice the lives and wellness of its citizens in an ugly war with Russia.

“I”, my conscious life, my self-acceptance, my self-responsibility, my goals, my integrity and integrity, and above all, my assertiveness dominated full societies and nations. “You”, your integrity and honesty, your historical truth, community life, social justice seem to be completely pushed to the far end. However, despite the triumph of individualism in the Western planet and the forced failure of collective identity, the collective dimension has not been eliminated from politics and will not be. Polish cultural anthropologist, Prof. Wojciech Józef Burszt In his article “Cultural War as an Anthropological Phenomenon”, he stated: “In a deeper sense, cultural wars are a permanent state of tension between the conventional and postmodern way of solving moral problems; cultural wars, in word, are dealt with in the registry of morality, not so much material issues (earmarks, work, function of the state), but conflicts related to the normative order of social life and the issue of collective identity. This area was taken to call post-material values. Thus, ultimately, the game is to support a peculiar imagination of society and its moral bonds. Therefore, it is not hard to imagine that the conflict fronts of morally founded disputes of value are actually about almost all aspects of collective life and individual axiological choices."

Cultural wars and increasingly bumpy ways of communication between people are blocking all dialogue, or, in fact, only real dialog in a Christian spirit, in a spirit of love, empathy and forgiveness. Unfortunately, even among the Catholics themselves, 1 can sometimes see a kind of unpleasant suspension on his own self, that 1 can fear that in the discussion they will capture a cross and place it on their interlocutors like a sword. This is simply a complete deficiency of knowing of the words of Jesus Christ and turning distant from Him, not listening to Him and following Him. The dialogue, unfortunately besides among many sects of Christians, is blocked by these unfortunate cultural changes, with the quiet acceptance of those hierarchy of the Church who themselves succumbed to them.

Prof. Józef Tischner erstwhile rightly appealed for a “reason between the two” due to the fact that “I” and “You” only be in relation to each another and stressed that Catholic doctrine is not divided into monological and dialog (“Philosophy of Drama”). But present Fr Marek Wittbrot, the organizer of meetings at the Pallotin Centre du dialog in Paris, in an interview with Monika Florek-Mostowska, adds: “St. Thomas of Aquinas did so utilizing besides antithesis and antithesis, without reaching conclusions. The problem is that with expanding resistance, even mistrust, and sometimes hostility, we treat all correlations, not to mention the perception of the "face of another" or the space of contact with individual another than us. Today, rather, everyone adheres to their unchanging truths and expected 100% certainty. However, as Tischner warned long ago, who seeks irrefutable certaintys, usually finds ideologies.” and “and in the darkest times there must be a place for the public to pronounce uncomfortable facts and hard truths.” indicating that since it is hard to reconcile different goals and values, “it is crucial that average savoir-vivre and, for example, legal culture” due to the fact that societies are chains of relations and “many depends on whether leaders advance a spirit of dialog or alternatively a spirit of more or little violent confrontation”.

Always and everywhere the ideology of religion and unreflexiveness brought and bring misery and war to people. This is happening all over the world. This besides happened to the Second Republic in the areas of east Małopolska and present-day Ukraine erstwhile after the outbreak of planet War II Ukrainians instigated besides by the overpowered nationalism of Orthodox clergy made terrible slaughters on Polish citizens even though they were Polish citizens themselves. There was no dialogue. On the Ukrainian side there were guns, rifles, shovels, forks, knives and fists directed even to Polish children in their mothers' stomachs, and hundreds of Greek Catholic priests urged to get free of Poles, for example:

– in Mikuliczyn, Fr Łuciv preached in the pulpit that it was time to throw Poles outside Kraków and Warsaw, he prohibited selling to Poles, claiming that Poles and Jews were the same;

In Manasterz, Fr W. Smolka taught the faithful this way: “Someday St. Peter will ask you about good works, how much he has poured out Polish tares. And what do you say, since you're so idle waiting for others to do it for you’;

– in the parish of Germakówka, Fr Ivan Wołoszyn sacrificed the tools of execution to Ukrainians and called for a fight “with tares in wheat”.

– in the parish of Głęboczek, Fr Antoni Kaznowski called Poles, Jews and Moscow enemies of Ukrainian independency and urged to destruct them;

– in Litówsko, Fr Pasiecznik called for killing Poles;

– the priest from Chlebowice Świrski said that “Ukrainians cannot come to the holy unless they destruct the Lachów” ...etc.

There are even cases of individual engagement of the Greek Catholic clergy in the slaughter on the Polish population, for example:

* Greek Catholic priest in Hallerczyn;

* Fr Vasily Namyj, Greek Catholic parish priest of Skomorochy Stare;

* Pałabicki, a Greek Catholic priest, commanded the UPA attack on the Coroscites;

* Zakrzewski, a Greek Catholic priest from Kut, celebrated knives which later killed Poles and, according to witnesses, besides personally participated in murders;

* Kurytas, Greek Catholic priest in Bucniów;

* Raich, Greek Catholic priest in Iławcza...etc.

Can you just say present that the devil waved his tail and it happened? – surely not at the diplomatic level of Poland, Ukraine and representatives of the Churches! It takes not only a court gathering of diplomats to plan meaningful dialogue, but, above all, knowing at the level of deep feeling, and a Christian approach.

The war with Russia, which has continued in Ukraine since 2022, has not helped Poles to build open dialogues or relationships between people based on common respect and trust in Ukrainians, and Ukrainians do not aid build national culture, worthy attitudes and make affirmative national heroes as function models. Further Ukrainian governments willingly and frequently impertinently claim the cultural heritage of Poland, Russia, Rusi Kiev, White, Red, Halicka and for more than 30 years have been insistent on their historical policy based frequently on silence and simple historical lies. Ukraine, as a very young state, does not have its own hereditary culture and centuries-old history, so just after the dissolution of the USSR and gaining sovereignty, it adopted more than 30 legal acts related not so much to history, based on papers and evidence, but to historical policy, most in times Viktor Yushchenko.

To this day there are already any 60 of these laws, which makes Ukraine a quantitative evidence holder in penalizing historical content. The country is ruled by elites profoundly dependent on the interests of the West and putting on pedestal the worst of possible figures, specified as the political leaders of the UPA, war criminals from SS Galizien, or Greek-Catholic and Orthodox clergymen who willingly called on the Ukrainian people as the Polish national number in the Second Poland, to crimes on their Polish neighbours.

Only more lies can be built on a lie and specified works have been erect by Ukraine's elite for 30 years. alternatively of building solid foundations of national identity, based on ethical moral patterns, monuments were erected to oppressors, bandits and hatred speech swordsmen. It was so a substance of rather a short time erstwhile the wind of past threw specified a fraudulent “card house” on the Ukrainians' heads and the war started there. It was besides a mistake to recognise the past of the Zaporosian Cossacks, Cossacks and Hajdamaks as crucial sources in the process of building the Ukrainian national identity. Of course, the Cossacks played a function in the past of Poland and Russia, but putting them in the 21st century as a model of a fresh Ukraine was not only a mistake, but a disgraceful shortsighted foolishness. Cossack is simply a word derived from the Turkish language – quazzaq – meaning a brawler, a bandit, an outlaw. Hajdamaka is besides a name derived from the Turkish word "hajdmak" – to rob, plunder, chase, rush. Bandits, sooner or later, are always and everywhere combated by society and go to prisons or gallows. The tradition and ethics of uncouth bandits and looters should not build a healthy social culture and "a state clean as glass". However, this is how they were built in Ukraine from the beginning. Who does it belong to today, but it's worth mentioning. Millions of Ukrainians fled the homeland of oligarchs and mob-like bloodsuckers, corrupt officials, and all the “give, give” ointment reasonably well identified in the world.

So who are Poles talking to present in the Polish Sejm? Who does the dialog want to conduct the Church in Poland? After all, until Ukraine carries out a meaningful ideological change in its country, as more than 1,000 years ago Polish princes and kings did to decently enter European culture, and until the Orthodox Church of Ukraine stands in God's fact and Ukraine fails to incorrect historical policy and continuous treatments for further war, a real and sincere dialog will not be possible. Ukraine needs ethical cultural patterns for its citizens, like the frogs of the jam, to separate from its rations, frequently insane, immoral and full of arrogance, to admit genocide and to the mistakes of its politicians to become a partner in dialog with Poland and the remainder of the world. However, there is no humility, no desire to renounce the ideology of flagism, hajdamacy, "dajdająccy" and change, so in this context "in the context of the anniversary of the Volyn tragedy, reflections on the request to strengthen common dialog and the process of reconciliation, and concrete actions in this field" are poor, due to the fact that from a intellectual and rational point of view it cannot be otherwise.
