Leszek Miller, erstwhile Prime Minister of Poland, believes that the win of Karol Nawrocki in the presidential election could end in the collapse of Donald Tusk's government. In his opinion, this is simply a very probable scenario, which can lead to large turmoil in Polish politics.

In an interview with Radio ZET, Miller said that if Karol Nawrocki, a candidate supported by the Law and Justice, wins the election, that could mean the end of the government. "Well, it can, of course, be all in the hands of voters," Miller added. According to him, the script in which the government may fall after the presidential election is possible.

According to Miller, if Rafał Trzaskowski, a candidate for the Civic Coalition, loses the election, then politicians from PSL and Simon Holownia's organization will not stand the thought that they will be tormented with Nawrock for years. "And Mr Kaczyński will rapidly run with the offer of creating a common government," Miller added.

In the latest opinion poll24, 35.3% of respondents would vote for Rafał Trzaskowski, 22.1% for Karol Nawrocki, and 13.2% for Sławomir Mentzen. In the second circular of the Trzask election, 52.4% of the people would choose, and Nawrocki would choose 35.2%. The presidential election will take place on May 18.

To date, the State Election Commission has registered 11 election committees of presidential candidates, including Sławomir Mentzen, Rafał Trzaskowski, Grzegorz Braun, Szymon Holown, Adrian Zandberg and Wiesław Lewicki, Maciej Maciak, Magdalena Biejat, Mark Woch, Mark Jakubiak and Karol Nawrocki.

Other candidates who declared their start in the election were the president of the Union alternate Piotr Szumlewicz, erstwhile SLD MP, economist, academic teacher Joanna Senyszyn and Katarzyna Cichos as a partyless candidate. It is worth noting that according to fresh data, more than 60% of Poles are curious in presidential elections, and over 70% think that the consequence of the elections will affect the future of Poland.

In the context of these elections, it is worth reminding that Donald Tusk's government is presently supported by a coalition of political parties, including the Civic, Modern and PSL Platform. If Karol Nawrocki wins the election, this could lead to the dissolution of this coalition and the creation of a fresh government.

Rafał Trzaskowski, a candidate of the Civic Coalition, declared that if he won the election, he would proceed the policy of his predecessor, Andrzej Duda. It is worth noting that according to the polls, Trzaskowski has a good chance of winning the election, and his triumph may be an impulse for the Polish economy and politics.
