Will the Polish authorities reconstruct the draft? This is what the erstwhile manager of the Department of Armed Forces of BBN, General Jarosław Kraszewski, wants. Interestingly, it offers a way akin to that of Germany.
The German Government decided in September that it would start suspending the work to collect universally. This is simply a reaction to the crisis in global politics. Germany would like to build the largest army in Europe.
According to the decision of Minister Boris Pistorius supported by Chancellor Friedrich Merz, it began with a voluntary download. All men of draft age will receive a questionnaire from the army and will be obliged to complete it. However, only those who declare specified a desire will do the service. Supporters of this step indicate that the Bundeswehr is not prepared to rapidly reconstruct mandatory universal collection for all.
Critics think it's not adequate due to the fact that the army needs to be expanded very quickly. For example, the Prime Minister of Bavaria and head of CSU, Markus Söder, indicate this. – Germany's safety is seriously compromised. The faster the general consumption enters, the better – he said. – Voluntaryity can only be the first step. In times of danger, we request more than an army from a questionnaire. – he added.
The Return Act is due to be adopted in the Bundestag in October.
Will it be the same in Poland? This is what General Jarosław Kraszewski would like. In an interview with Radio RDC, he stated that there was no another way. – In the first stage, let it be voluntary, or who wants to be trained for a maximum of six months said the military. – If anything bad happens, these people know how to behave. – he added.
Earlier, the general indicated that Poland is moving out of mobilization resources – in short, besides fewer Poles are in reserve. The suspension was announced in Poland in 2008.
