WEDP 2025 – The large Orchestra of Christmas Charity will play for children's oncology

Now. January 26, 2025 will take place 33rd Final of the large Orchestra of Christmas Charity. The Jerzy Owsiak Foundation reunites Poles, this time for a worthy intent of support paediatric oncology and haematology. This year's edition brings large hopes of buying modern medical equipment for the youngest patients.

How will WOŚP play in 2025?

Traditionally, the WOŚP final will be held not only in Poland but besides outside its borders. Orchestra Staff operates in over 20 countrieswhere Polonia actively engages in help. Hundreds of events have been organized in the country that encourage the participation of both adults and children.

This year's final was prepared auctions, concerts, charity runs and blood donations. The large Orchestra of Christmas Charity brings people together in all corner of Poland – from large cities to tiny towns, which shows how crucial this initiative has become a part of social engagement.

Local events – what will happen in your city?

Each city has prepared peculiar attractions. For example, Ostrów Wielkopolski planned:

• Traditional moving “Deal with diabetes” which attracts more and more participants each year.
• Mortificationwhich is very popular among winter bath lovers.
• The ability to donate blood in specially prepared points.

In addition, Ostrowski Centre for Culture Art performances and auctions of exceptional items specified as WOSP’S golden hearts – Symbols of solidarity with children in request of help.

What can you bid? Golden hearts and more

Every year, WOŚP auctions are of large interest. This year, among the most valuable items are conventional gold hearts – more than 1500 pieces It went to the office throughout Poland. But that is not all. In erstwhile editions, among others:

• Cruises with luxury yachts,
• Unique objects given by stars,
• Vouchery for exceptional experiences, specified as balloon flights or celebrity dinners.

Thanks to the auctions, the Orchestra collects millions of zlotys all year, which are allocated entirely to acquisition medical equipment.

How to support WOŚP in 2025?

Everyone can participate in the WOŚP final regardless of where they live. Here are any ways to support the Orchestra:

1. Put a donation in the can. – volunteers with distinctive WOŚP cans will be present on the streets throughout Poland.
2. Take part in online auctions – on platforms specified as Allegro, you can find unique items from which income feeds the WEDP account.
3. Donate to WOŚP account – all buck matters.
4. Participate in local events – runs, concerts and artistic performances are an chance to spend time with household and friends, while supporting a good goal.

What are the funds for?

This year's finale focuses on support paediatric oncology and haematology. This appropriation is intended to cover the acquisition of advanced medical equipment, including:

• Imaging diagnostic equipment, specified as CT scans or magnetic resonance imaging,
• Modern chemotherapy apparatuswhich minimise the side effects of treatment,
• Hospital beds adapted to the needs of the youngest patients.

In erstwhile years, the funds collected enabled the acquisition of incubators, respirators and life function monitoring devices. Thanks to WEDP, hospitals across Poland received equipment of full value over PLN 2 billion.
