On Friday evening there was an emotional presidential debate on TVP between Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki. Discussion by a writer Super Express Jacek Prusinowski rapidly turned into an exchange of harsh allegations, especially in matters of abroad policy and migration.
“Financing Mr. Soros!” – Nawrocki attacks Trzaskowski
One of the key moments of the debate was the exchange of views on run financing. Karol Nawrocki accused Rafał Trzaskowski of being supported by abroad foundations, including those associated with George Soros.
– Is that any good, Mr. Rafale? You are funded by German foundations, by Mr. Soros, during the run supports your abroad capital said Nawrocki.
Trzaskowski powerfully denied:
– Of course, absolutely not. We have managed to make many good initiatives like Campus Poland's Future. The PiS tried, and it didn't work out. I run the Polish business. The most crucial thing is to make coalitions. “The president of Warsaw replied.
The conflict intensified erstwhile Trzaskowski replied:
– I like Soros to Orban. It's not actual that my run is financed from abroad money. We can talk in court about this..
Migration dispute: 300 1000 visas vs. 300 visas
The next point was the issue of migration. Trzaskowski accused the Government of the United Right of mass issuance of visas:
– Are you talking about migration? Who's been handing out visas if not PiS to the left and to the right? Who let migrants through? Who created the Centers for the Integration of Foreigners?
Nawrocki denied, claiming that it was 300 visas, not 300,000, and evaporated that it was Donald Tusk's government that issued more permits. He besides announced the termination of the migration pact and deportations alternatively of integration.
– NIK report, ladies. – reminded Trzaskowski, pointing to authoritative data. He besides added:
– The border is tight, asylum law has been suspended, and the migration pact will never enter into force, due to the fact that I am the 1 who wrote in EU papers that if we accept Ukrainians, we will not accept anyone else..

The debate showed deep differences between the candidates. Trzaskowski emphasized his experience in global politics, while Nawrocki focused on his hard stance on migration and allegations of abroad influence. The dispute over visa numbers remains unresolved, although Trzaskowski referred to the study of the NIK.
