Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 31.01.2026):
- Russia and Ukraine have agreed to briefly halt firing on their energy systems in consequence to US president Donald Trump's appeal – this is intended to facilitate peace negotiations. However, the pages disagree about the dimension of the moratorium: Kremlin talks about the period until Sunday, Kiev – about the full week from Friday. Nevertheless, attacks on another targets — especially logistics nodes and railways — continue.
- In the Zaporozh region, a Russian drone operation killed 3 people and another 3 were injured, damaging private buildings and buildings. The Ukrainian air defence shot down respective another drones flying over the city. On the another hand, a large fire occurred in Odessa as a consequence of the Russian drone strike — no fatalities.
- Russian artillery shelling and rocket and air strikes proceed to be conducted along the front lines, in peculiar in Donbasa and in the south-east direction.
- In the western part of the dam section, The Russians entered the village of Riczne, close Primorskie. In the east – took Ternuwate.
- Under Kostiantinivka, the Ukrainian defence of Berestok yet collapsed. In the future, this will facilitate the storms of the main Ukrainian positions in the city itself.
- Russian forces have conducted limited actions in the merchant direction and in the sum front. However, there was no crucial progress.
