Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 28.02.2026):
- During the last 24 hours, at least 7 people were killed as a consequence of rocket and drone shellings in 3 circuits (e.g. Zaporoski, Kherson, Odski and Dzepropetrovsk) and about 20 were injured. The ammunition depot in Izmaile was destroyed, among others.
- Ukrainian armed forces neutralized Russia's advanced communications strategy in Belarus to coordinate the kamikaze drone attacks. Although the method details of the "Mesh" network demolition operation itself stay undisclosed, the elimination of relay points in Belarus is seen as 1 of the most crucial successes in the field of radio-electronic combat throughout the war.
- At the same time another organization of about 250 Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow. another pilots hit among others in Kursk and Nizhny Tagał.
- On the Zaporosian section, the Russians recorded small field advancement south of Zaliznicy.
- In the area of Ukrainian counteroffensive, Kiev forces captured the village of Ternowe. The Kremlin is trying to halt those attacking with increased activity of kamikaze drones. The losses of both sides are increasing, and the conflict itself is moving out.
- Russian troops occupied Biliakiwka on the New-Pavlovian section.
- After the collapse of subsequent storms, the Russians returned to the phase of regular Kostiantiniwka shelling.
- On the Liman section, there are fierce fights over Drobyshevisze.
- Russian forces crossed the state border at a fresh location, occupying the village of Sopycz in the north of the Sumic region.
