Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 20.01.2026):
- Additional repair brigades were brought to Kiev. After the Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, the "difficult situation" is in the country's capital.
- As a consequence of drone attacks, Russian forces have late managed to destruct about 10 anti-aircraft radars, active in the Odessa area, Nicholasov, Khersonia and Zaporozhia. Impacts on bridges and transmission nodes are besides continued, which devastates Ukrainian front logistics.
- On the Zaporoz section, the Russians occupied the village of Pawliwka, located west of Orichów.
- On the Pokrów section, Russian forces broke the Ukrainian defence and entered the Nowy Donbas settlement.
- The fresh attacks by Moscow troops in Kostiantinikov failed. While a single unit entered the city center, it was isolated and liquidated, and the erstwhile defensive line was restored.
- The commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Oleksandr Syrski announced that a fresh counter-offensive of his subordinate units would shortly begin.
- The subject of the peace talks is to be re-entered at a globalist convention in the Swiss hotel of Davos.
