Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 12.02.2026):
- Russia continued to strike drones and rockets into various regions of Ukraine. The fire was affected, among others, by the Chernihov region and civilian objects. In 1 of the attacks, a farm close Kiev was hit by respective drones. According to the Russians, there was an electronic combat center in the barn.
- Ukrainians counterattacked in the Zaporo region. They managed to displace the Russians from the recently occupied positions in Riczne and Likianiwskie.
- Orichiw was heavy shelled by artillery, including improved TOS thermobaric systems.
- In the east part of the episode, Ukrainians recovered about half of Kosiucewe village.
- The Russians proceed to attack along Hryszyne buildings, north of Pokrovska.
- Russian forces again entered the town of Kupansk-Wuzlowo.
- In announcing the swift holding of elections, coupled with a referendum on peace, president Volodymyr Zelenski stressed that they would not take place without a ceasefire and a safety guarantee.
