Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 08.09.2025):
- In the east part of the Zaporosian section, the Russians occupied the village of Horoshe and approached Lisne.
- Ukrainians made further attempts to counterattack in the area of dangerous burglary north of Pokrovska. Their effective actions led to the recovery of Zapowidne and Volodymyrivka. In this way, the anticipation of orbiting the opponent again, or forcing him to retreat to the starting positions 2 months ago (Nowotorecki).
- Ukrainian troops besides counterattacked in Sierebriance on the Siwierski section. No luck this time. On the another hand, the Russians were attacking Jampil.
- Ukrainian attempts to unblock the circular Shandroholov failed.
- On the Kharkiv Front, the Russian army continued a slow offensive west of Volchansk. This time the first troops reached Senelnikowe.
- Following yesterday's massive drone attack on Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenski announced a gathering in Ramstein format in the coming week and expressed his anticipation of fresh support packages. According to him, the focus should be on strengthening Ukrainian capabilities to capture drones, through deliveries and on-site production of drones fighting drones.
