Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 05.01.2026):
- Small, Russian advancement was recorded north of Jabluniwka, on the Kostiantini section.
- The Ukrainians performed a knotrnarnatarsk in Swiatokovsk. His score is not yet known.
- A surprise Russian counterattack on Podory took place on the Buyer's section. There are dense fights going on for this village, whose fall will mark the rounding of respective Ukrainian troops in Petropavlice.
- On the Kharkwoski Front, Russian forces established along the buildings of the village of Vowczańskie Chutory.
- On the summarist front, the Russians reached west of the villages of Hrabów occupied by them. Moreover, they crossed the state border in a fresh place, mastering Komarivka.
- Sabotage operations and drone attacks throughout the border of the Chernich region are increasing. Moscow wants to disorganize the defence in this area. possibly it's just an effort to get more Ukrainian forces from another episodes there, and possibly it's a preparation for a real offensive.
- As a consequence of Russia's failure to agree to the latest version of the peace plan set by Ukraine, the war will continue.
