Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 01.02.2026):

  • As a consequence of subsequent drone attacks, there is no electricity in many regions of Ukraine. Especially affected are the Chernich, Sumski, Rytomierski and Kiev circuits. There's no electricity or hot water in the capital.
  • The front remains mostly unchangeable and the shifts of the lines of combat are minimal. Russian attempts at advancement are characterised by low velocity and limited territorial gains, besides in the main directions of the offensive (Pokrowski, Slavic, Kupinian). The general nature of fights resembles positional actions, with local attacks and counterattacks on both sides.
  • Although the strength of fighting remains high, it mainly translates into the usage of force and hard conditions for soldiers of both parties alternatively than into crucial changes in the controlled territory.
  • The Russians destroyed the key logistics node in Sinielnikov in the Dzepropetrovsk Oblast with rockets.
  • On the Zaporosian section, there are fierce fights over Riczne, where the Ukrainian side counterattacks.
  • In the area of Hulaipola, Russian forces approach the Crimean village.
  • On the Pokrów section, the Russians one more time invaded the village of Toreckie, close Shahowe.
  • On the Kharkiv Front, Moscow's faithful troops heavy bombarded the area Ineffective. At the same time, limited infantry attacks on neighbouring Greens continued.
