Polishness is simply a wonderful normality – it reminds Witold Gadowski in his column. In spite of the successive generations of “the pedagogy of shame”, it reminds us of a set of features that positively separate our nation.
The title of the column refers to Donald Tusk's belief, expressed years ago, that "polity is abnormality". In contrast to the Polish-language alleged enlightened elites, the writer “Niedziela” emphasizes: “Our homeland is beauty and harmony, which cannot be corrupted by the various qualities of our community.”
Looking at the Polish collective, Witold Gadowski points out that focusing solely on the measurable and material sphere of reality will consequence in us being constantly subjected to “disappointment”, forcing the nation into mass depression. This is done by media and celebrities telling the natives of a wonderful country on the Vistula River like unjustified complexes towards any another nation.
"This is due to systematic dismantling and depreciation Polish guiding ideas“” says the author. It is further awarded the discrimination of the qualities of Poles and Polishness above mediocrity, making us "outstanding, irreplaceable and unique".
"Poland would not be essential for the world, if not for exceptional – Polish – knowing freedom. It is that people live in our home as they please. Poles do not have the rule of interfering with someone's private life. However, this continues until the basic canons of Christendom are not violated. If we come to the conclusion that individual is getting hurt – we enter solidarity," writes Gadowski.
Polish freedom describes the author as a global phenomenon. We restrict our own freedom with values. We are the only ones who defender the fading heritage of Latin Europe. We keep the principles that another people in our continent have long lost.
"Of course, in fresh years we have been affected by a full wave of actions to break us off from this, and in the last 2 generations we can already see the devastating impact of this aggression from the outside, but Poland continues, due to the fact that many Poles are ready to stand up for the ideas they consider to be the most crucial ones" - says Witold Gadowski.
The author further mentions the distinctive, well understood rule of tolerance, indifferent to the phenomena that endanger us. He besides notes: “Poles slow activate and decision to action, but if so, woe to whom they consider to be an adversary.”
It points to an crucial feature of Polish thinking, in which the most crucial thought is rooted in Christ. "We would otherwise be able to do what Germany and the Russians do at their worst moments. Freedom brought distant from Christ is simply a rescue for our community and culture; it is it that commands us to stand by out of fashion in today's planet of ideas," she notes.
"Our Homeland is as earthly as Divine, and there truly is no another community in the planet that would have these rules so profoundly infused – in culture and in practice.
