Jokes about political promotions in the times of PRL They were not created in the production of cult comedies, but precisely the opposite. What were these conversations about? Magierowski was to voluntarily agree to leave the prestigious facility in exchange for the position of ambassador in the country for ‘H’, that is, in Ohio, as Stanislaw Angel had guessed, but in fact not even Honduras, but Argentina. However, something went incorrect in this business and most likely Magierowski will stay on diplomatic ice. The turn of the case caused surprise, but not in the “Big Palace”. President Andrzej Duda and his surroundings seemingly defend Mark Magierowski, but the fact is that the president divided up with the head of his law firm in not the best kind and climate.
Marek Magierowski was suspected of cooperating with Novogródka and taking information from the Palace, and this was to be the main reason for his “advance” as an ambassador to Israel. Furthermore, Andrzej Duda has no choice but to defend Magierowski for appearances, due to the fact that he is actually defending his competences. In Poland, the appointment of ambassadors is two-stage, abroad policy is theoretically dealt with by the government and, consequently, the ambassadors are nominated by the MFA, but their appointment and cancellation is approved by the President.
For many months there has been a conflict in this issue, due to the fact that Radosław Sikorski decided to cancel respective ambassadors without the signature of Andrzej Duda, but Marek Magierowski was only at the center of the conflict for a while, although he directed 1 of the most important, if not the most important, Polish diplomatic mission. Not only the politicians of the Law and Justice have spoken positively to him, but besides the politicians of the “coalition of 13 December” and in politics specified miracles without a behind-the-ground origin do not happen.
