– By 2026 Poland may again vanish from political maps of the world. And there's no exaggeration. Jerzy Kwasniewski, head of Ordo Iuris in the Institute's latest Newsletter, emphasizes. How is that possible? According to the November 2023 resolution of the European Parliament, “the characteristics of the sovereign Polish State are to be given back to the reformed fresh European Union”. – After the re-election of Ursula von der Leyen as president of the European Commission, the improvement process accelerates and the key function is to be played by... As we read, in 3 months, Poland will take over the Presidency of the European Union. – Acting hand in hand with the German Commission President, Donald Tusk will have a peculiar impact on Brussels' decisions for six months. It is more and more common to hear – including the closely followed EU policy by Jack Saryusz-Wolski – that Donald Tusk will be liable for carrying out a major treaty improvement – points out.
Mec. Kwasniewski recalls that the Ordo Iuris Institute has been leading the European front against the authoritative procedure for amending the EU treaties for a year. “ For all this to be possible, Donald Tusk must convince new countries EU to adopt 267 amendments to the EU Treaties.
