The first episode of the documentary “Neighbours. Last Witnesses of Ukrainian genocide in Poles” by Jack Międlar won the main prize at the Ardelion European movie Association. The manager emphasizes that this is simply a discrimination of peculiar importance, because, as he points out, it allows to introduce the subject of Ukrainian genocide in Poles into the European cultural circulation.

The first episode of the series depicts the destiny of Poles surviving in the Borders of the Second Republic, who were victims of crimes committed during planet War II. The subject remains marginalized and distorted in Poland – both by limiting the scale of genocide to Volyn and by lowering the number of victims.
