Anita Sowińska, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Climate and Environment, wants to make a revolution in the Polish wellness sector. However, it is not about repairing services, it is about making changes to make the sector more environmentally friendly.

Those who live in Poland know that the wellness sector works poorly. This is 1 of those elements that truly needs change.

And the changes are coming, but they're not going to be about repairing services. Deputy Minister Anita Sowińska wants the wellness sector to be more environmentally neutral.

– The government sees the request for changes in the wellness sector. Hospitals make as much as 4% of CO2 emissions, that's a lot, even more, than airplanes generate, so that there's truly something to do – says Newseria Biznes Anita Sowińska, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Climate and Environment.

– Of course, this is about energy emissions, which means it is very crucial to heat buildings or photovoltaic panels. But we besides request to remember that hospitals are large companies that make waste, so waste logistics is very important, especially these hazardous wastes. Of course, the full logistical handling of the patient, that is to minimize the environmental impact by reducing transport. The goal is that the patient should come to the infirmary erstwhile and have a comprehensive examination, alternatively than having to come respective times. These are minor, it would seem, changes, but which have a colossal impact – adds.

"The Green Coalition was created by INNOW's initiative in cooperation with the Department of Public wellness of the Warsaw Medical University and the Centre for the investigation of Entrepreneurship affirmative Impact of Leon Kozmiński Academy. This cooperation platform for the sustainable improvement of the wellness sector in Poland is addressed to the management staff of wellness institutions, representatives of local governments, business and decision-makers. It has already been joined by more than 20 medical, technological and business institutions. The honorary patronage of the initiative was the National wellness Fund, the Capital City of Warsaw, the Embassy of Canada, the Embassy of Belgium and the Polish-Dutch Chamber," Newseria informs.

– The green transformation in wellness care is actually just beginning, it's getting louder and louder. Even at the climate summit, the subject of green solutions for the wellness sector was raised – This is Dr. Agnieszka Sznyk, the coalition's initiator.
