We cannot let a noisy number to impose their ideology on a silent majority. Together, we must bear witness to what is good, beautiful and actual – was encouraged by Deputy Marshal Krzysztof Bosak in a peculiar letter addressed to participants of the March for Life and household in Krakow.

Deputy Marshal Bosak took the honorary patronage of the Kraków March for Life and household this year. During the event, a letter was read to the participants and to all those who are at the heart of the ideas behind this initiative and its akin actions.

Dear March Participants for Life and Family,

Dear Defenders of Life, household and Polish Identity,

With large respect and appreciation I address these words to you – as Deputy Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, but above all as a Pole, husband and father, profoundly convinced of the inalienable value of human life and the irreplaceable function of household in building a strong nation.

Your presence on the March for Life and household is not only an expression of individual evidence – it is an act of civilian courage and commitment to defend the foundations on which our civilization has been based for generations.

In times of moral relativism and cultural crisis which many Western countries are facing today, it is these attitudes that are a sign of hope and renewal. Family, built on the matrimony of a female and a man, is not a pastime – it is simply a natural and tested community in which life is born, character shapes and values are passed on. Without strong families there is no strong nation. Without the defence of life – from conception to death – there is no actual justice or civilization of love.

I am arrogant that as a nation we inactive have the courage to talk clearly: the right to life is the basis, the household is irreplaceable, and Poland is not only a territory, but a community of spirit, a community of religion and culture. We cannot let a noisy number to impose their ideology on a silent majority. We must witness together to what is good, beautiful and true.

Thank you for your presence, for your prayer, for your effort, for your testimony. I thank the organizers for taking the effort to prepare this event, which unites people of different backgrounds around the common origin each year.

I encourage you: let's keep going. present Poland needs people of conscience – ready to say yes to life, yes to family, yes to independent Homeland.

With respect and wishes of God's blessing,

Krzysztof Bosak,

Deputy Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland.
