Student Scholarships: What are Available Benefits?
In the academic year 2024/2025 students can apply for different types of scholarships, which can full up to PLN 3.5 1000 per month. The following are the most crucial information on available forms of aid:
1. Rector's Scholarship
The Rector's Scholarship is awarded to students who stand out on a national scale. They are awarded to global Olympic winners and to central Olympic finalists. Additionally, students who won the medal in the competition for the title of Polish champion in athletics can besides number on this scholarship. The amount of the scholarship is determined individually by each university, but mostly it is 1 of the highest forms of financial support.
2. Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities
Scholarship for disabled students is available regardless of household income. Social scholarship is awarded to students from families whose income per individual does not exceed PLN 1294.40 net per period (amount from the erstwhile academic year, changes may happen in the fresh year). The amount of the scholarship may be increased in case of peculiar circumstances specified as learning in another city or the disability of the parent. Social scholarship is paid monthly throughout the semester.
4. Aid
This provides a one-time benefit to students in hard material situations. These can be obtained in case of random events specified as illness, disability or harm caused by random incidents.
