“The ground pavements, the torn door from the church, the blocked door of the monastery”, this is how the church and the Franciscan monastery in Kłodzek look in the shortest summary after the first flood wave. Father Sławomir Klim spoke to Radio RMF24 about the situation of the temple and monks.
– It was easier to look at water than what was left of that water. said the Franciscan. He stressed that the water that flowed revealed "changed pavements, torn doors from the church."
According to the report, nuns can't leave the monastery building due to the fact that there was so much force on the water. – Locked doors. We have no way out of the monastery. You can't decision a handle. It's full of mules. – explained.
– Roll over side altars, benches began swimming in the water due to the fact that the door was torn from the church. I saw 1 figure floating. Whether the current pushed her back or brought her out and was lost, I don't know. – he continued to study on Fr. Klim.
Finally, the Franciscan reported that the Tabernacle and the Blessed Sacrament have been preserved. “The nuns took him to the chapel on the first level in time”, we read.
