Vice president U.S. J.D. Vance backed White home Chief Donald Trump after an argument with a billionaire Elon Musk.
"President Trump has done more than anyone else in my life to gain the trust of the movement he leads. I am arrogant to be able to support him," he wrote on the social network X.
Relations between the president of the United States and the head of Tesla have worsened since the second resigned as head of the Department of Government Efficiency last week. Then the businessman said he would inactive be a friend and a politician's advisor.
However, the entrepreneur has late harshly criticised the large-scale draft budget promoted by the American leader, calling it “disgusting”.
The paper reduces national spending but besides provides for serious taxation relief. Musk believes that the bill will compensate for his public sector work and will lead to an increase in the US budget deficit.
Trump, for his part, expressed disappointment with Musk, explaining that he had done much for him. In response, Musk accused the White home chief of ingratitude and noted that the president could not win the election without his participation. The businessman besides called for Trump's impeachment and proposed replacing him with Vice president J.D. Vance.
