Apart from expensive, this safety is undoubtedly the most crucial problem facing Poles. The prolonged conflict in Ukraine and the real threat of bringing Polish troops there rise legitimate fears of citizens. Therefore, it is no wonder that the bottom-up initiative of the gentlemen: Leszek Sykulski and Sebastian Pigonia contained in the slogan “It is Not Our War” raised specified a broad social response. 1 of the elements launched on 3 February 2023 in Częstochowa run promoting peace and not involving Poland in conflict in Ukraine was to be lectured by Leszek Sykulski in Lublin.
Responding to the wide resonance with which this initiative met in Lubień, the organizers stood up to the challenge and organized a large hall in the center of the PZMot building. What a surprise to them that on the second day after the reservation, manager PZMot Dariusz Wozniak decided to cancel it.
"There will be no meeting, 100 percent. What Mr. Sikulski is saying is incompatible with what we think. I don't think I can preach specified things" - he said in a speech for Virtual Poland. It is hard to believe that for manager Wozniak the thought of peace is simply a salt in the eye and he wants Russian rockets to fly over Lublin. He was the victim of massed hatred from peculiar services, mainstream media and Ukrainian environments, which do everything to bring Poland into the war on Donbas.
Experienced organizers changed the formula. Leszek Sykulski was expected to be 1 of the guests of the discussion panel. The rented and paid place at another facility was not publicized in the media. Only people would arrive there, who were close to the thought of not involving Poland in the conflict in the East. Despite this, 2 hours before the start, the organizers received an email about the cancellation of the meeting. A massive wave of hatred by war supporters and sold media, to whom the thought of peace is alien, broke the back of the tenants.
Unhindered organizers based on private contacts rented another area an hr before the event in a friendly restaurant. Unfortunately, after 30 minutes, the restaurant with the weeping voice announced that it would not be able to arrange it. It was sent crushed by a wave of hatred from the main sewer media. People who spoke Ukrainian besides entered the premises and began to win for their customers.
Such a desirable lecture was held in Lubin. Not everyone has a spine of rubber and a claw. The hall was rented 25 minutes before the event and brought together forces to clean up the large manifesto of peace, so much needed today, and especially desirable Lubina, a city located close the border with Ukraine. Leszek Sykulski with innate krasomology and logic of the speech conquered the hearts and minds of the accumulated elite of the city. The discussion after the lecture afraid fundamental issues related to the safety of Poland and Poles. This was undoubtedly 1 of the most crucial events the city of Bystrica witnessed recently.
However, there is simply a wave of hatred and hatred in the hands of authorities and all mainstream media, who did everything to guarantee that the ideas of peace and deescalation in Lublin did not resound. Lublinians' rights to freedom of expression, association and communication were besides violated. This shows very bad state of democracy and the regulation of law in Poland.
