CHICAGO- United Airlines (UA) has introduced a fresh regular seasonal direct flight from Athens global Airport (ATH) in Greece to its primary hub at Chicago O’Hare (ORD), expanding its flight offerings from Greece by over 30% for 2024.
This fresh service enhances United’s existing routes from Greece, which we were launched earlier this summer. These include a regular seasonal flight from Athens to fresh York/Newark (EWR) that started on March 31, and another to Washington Dulles (IAD), which began on April 15, 2024.

For the summertime of 2024, United will operate direct flights to 37 transatlantic destinations, a evidence number that increases the combined offers of all another U.S. airlines.

United’s fresh seasonal service between Athens and Chicago O’Hare will be operated on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft. This plan offers a scope of seating options, including 28 lie-flat business class seats in United Polaris, 21 premium economy seats in United Premium Plus, 36 Economy Plus seats, and 158 standard economy seats.
The Dreamliner is equipped with features like large windows, complete overhead storage, and LED lighting that simulates a full day, all designed to enhance passerger comfort and aid adjust their body blocks during the transatlantic journey. Additional benefits specified as lower compartment pressure, cleaner air, and a smoother ride contribute to a more restful experience upon arrival.
