They're here. fresh findings on the loud series of murders of older women in Warsaw. As a consequence of the investigation, 3 men heard allegations related to the murders of six seniors. The group included 2 alleged war refugees from Ukraine: Ihor H. and Taras. They were helped by a Polish ukrofil, Michał P. Investigators are investigating whether a group of 6 aged women's deaths are all the crimes they have committed recently. They found respective more suspicious deaths.
Ukrainian gang murdered Polish old women. The D.A. determined that the suspects entered older women's apartments under the pretext of performing hydraulic services, which made their presence in the homes of the victims credible. After a short conversation, they were to intimidate seniors, endanger to usage violence, and request the disclosure of a place to store money or valuables, then lead to their deaths and rob housing.
Michael P., Taras H. and Ihor H. were temporarily arrested. In the face of the 4th man, Jarosław O., who was expected to be in charge of the possession of stolen items, police surveillance has been applied so far. Interestingly, Ihor H. did not admit to any of the actions he was accused of and gave explanations that do not match the version of the events of the Pole and the another evidence collected. He's hoping to fool the D.A.'s office and at least partially avoid criminal liability.
The investigation conducted by the territory Attorney's Office in Warsaw continues – investigators proceed to gather evidence and analyse the circumstances that led to these violent acts.
This series of murders highlights the serious safety challenges of the elderly, especially those surviving alone, in an era of increased immigration of citizens of the "third world". Attacks in their homes, frequently under cover of legal services (e.g. hydraulics), show how easy they can be exposed to crimes if basic precautions are not preserved. Police consequence is preventive action and a call for caution in dealing with strangers offering home services.
