The Ukrainian threatened at the airport in Gdańsk with a bomb. Border defender was called to Gdańsk Airport after a incidental involving 1 of the passengers was reported. The service study indicated that the man at the check-in briefing insulted the worker and said that “this could be the bomb.” The situation occurred after he refused to pay the ticket activation fee. Despite disturbing words, the female directed him to the ticket and baggage register, where the traveller yet paid, but this did not end the fuss. — Despite these threats, the worker gave the frustrated traveller a chance to make a fee and redirected him to ticket and baggage offices. The passenger settled the charge, but inactive could not accept the situation. Leaving the register, he said a series of offensive words. The ticket and baggage office agent informed her supervisor. The consequence was the carrier's decision to retreat the man from the flight to Barcelona – said Tadeusz Gruchall from the Marine Border defender Branch.

Officers of the peculiar Border defender Service Intervention squad were called to the place, who punished the man with a fine of PLN 500 for obstructing the work of the airport staff. In addition, the legality of his stay in the territory of Poland was verified – it turned out that he stayed in Poland in accordance with regulations. It was already the 49th intervention of the Border defender this year at the Gdańsk airport against passengers violating safety rules.
