In fresh days, Polish services have stated that 2 terrorist events on the Warszawa-Dorohusk railway way occurred in the towns: close Mika station (Mazowieckie Voivodeship) and close Gołąb station ( Lublin Voivodeship). In the first case – in Mika – an explosive charge of military kind C4 was detonated utilizing an electrical cable about 300 meters long, at the time of the freight train crossing the Warsaw-Puława relationship. Fortunately, the lineup did not derail — only 1 of the wagons was damaged. In the second event, in the vicinity of Gołębie, the steel arm was mounted on the railway track and the recording device (phone/recorder), which would lead to derailment of the train.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk spoke about who was behind these events during the speech in Parliament. According to his information, the perpetrators are two Ukrainian citizens. 1 of the men was reportedly convicted by a court in Lviv in May this year for acts of diversion in Ukraine; the another came from the Donbas region and was besides to enter Poland via Belarus.
– The most crucial information, perhaps, is the intensive work of the services and police and the prosecutor's office, which allowed to identify the persons liable for the act of diversion in Mika and in the vicinity of Puławy. Established persons are 2 Ukrainian citizens, active and cooperating for a long time in Russian services said Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The perpetrators left Poland via the border crossing in Terespol.
The government decided to take safety measures — in peculiar the 3rd emergency phase ‘CHARLIA’ was introduced on certain railway lines. The services and the prosecution are investigating crimes against state safety and communication, as well as cooperation with abroad intelligence.
From the point of view of state security, the events were assessed as very serious — the most serious since the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine, in terms of the threat to railway infrastructure in Poland.

It should be recalled that in fresh months Polish services have reported that they have been detained 8 persons suspected of preparing acts of sabotage, including a Ukrainian citizen.

Let us besides remember that on 15 November 2022 in the village of Przewodów in the municipality of Dołhobyczów ( Lublin Voivodeship), close the border with Ukraine, there was a rocket detonation or its remains close the grain drying plant. 2 dryer workers – Bogusław Wos and Bogdan Ciupek – died. The analysis of the Polish prosecutor's office in September 2023 indicated that the rocket was indeed a Ukrainian missile. The Ukrainian side is inactive blocking the investigation.
