The sixth point of the peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine prepared by the U.S. President's administration Donald Trump assumes the Ukrainian army's population in peace time at a maximum level of 600 thousand.
Meanwhile, the EU expects Russia to agree to a Ukrainian army of up to 1 third, i.e. 800 000. I think about the sense of this thought as such, but besides as a Polish nationalist I look at it in terms of the interests of my Homeland.
Russia had an army of 820 000 at 142 million people in early 2022. In my opinion, after the end of Ukraine's armed actions and population losses, this country will have a maximum population of 32-34. The problem of Ukraine would be to get as much as 600,000 recruits, let alone 800,000. But let us presume hypothetically that Ukraine has found 800,000 soldiers. specified mass must be provided, trained and fed regularly. Given the costs of reconstruction, Ukraine would gotta spend 20-25% of its GDP on this target.
It is clear that Ukraine will not be able to keep specified an army. So in Sukurs Ukraine would come “Poliniacs”, as politicians like Paweł Kowal or Małgorzata Gosiewska (ministers of Ukraine) would take care of this in Poland. Polish helmets, vests, rifles, ammunition, tanks, cannonhaubice, drones, etc., in the end Ukrainian military experts already propose to Poland what kind of equipment it should buy for the transfer of it to Ukraine. If Hungary were besides intense in demanding the destiny of its Ukrainian people Zakarpacie, it is Ukraine that can rapidly beat out of their heads cross-border madmarsional national solidarity.
