Ukrainian investigative bodies issued Saturday, BOLOs for 2 suspects in the corruption investigation in the state-owned Enerhoatom company. Timur Mindycz, a close associate of president Volodymyr Zelenski, and Alexander Cukuraman are being sought. They are both Jews, they have Israeli citizenship, and they have already fled to this country.
Mindich and Cukerman's names were published on Saturday in the database of the wanted Ministry of Interior of Ukraine – reported Interfax-Ukraine agency. The database's website reports that Mindycz and Sugarman are being sought by the Central Board of the National Anti-corruption Office of Ukraine (NABU).
Both designated Israeli citizens are included in the investigation that NABU conducts in relation to corruption in Enerhoatom, an operator of Ukrainian atomic power plants. The value of embezzled funds is estimated at least $100 million.
