On Saturday I will be 1 of the speakers at a conference devoted to Ukrainian crimes in Poles during the pacification of the Warsaw Uprising.
Ukrainian historians say that Ukrainians did not participate in the crimes in Poland at all during the Warsaw Uprising, Polish historians as part of our country's historical policy conducted especially in the last 15 years say that the function of Ukrainians was marginal and that it is not in fact acceptable to address this issue at all, is it? I believe that what the Ukrainians did to Poles during this uprising was actually "Volynem bis", methods of action identical scale of crimes smaller but frequently only due to the fact that Germans intervened in the defence of Poles. In order not to be blunt, I will evoke shocking relations between insurgents and civilians. It happened that Warsawers hating Germans throughout the business were now praying for German salvation, and those saving from the savage death from the Ukrainians Germans were kissed by hand.
