Both Israel and Turkey have long been major regional players with a "hidden hand" in Syria – both of which sometimes secretly lead to the weakening and overthrow of the Syrian government of Bashar al-Assad.
And now the conflict for the spoils has continued since Asad left the country for Moscow on 8 December. Israeli tanks and land units moved towards Damascus from the south, and Turkish "Syrian National Army" is active in Aleppo state and northern Syria.
Turkey was besides reportedly active in a fresh Syrian government under leadership associated with Al-Qaeda Jolani (Sharaa), forming Anti-aircraft defence infrastructure in Syrian bases, especially close Palmyra in the center of the country.
But Israel has been busy bombing Syrian military facilities and equipment since December, which ceased to exist. Syria erstwhile had the most advanced (delivered by Russia) air defence rocket systems throughout the region, but now these batteries have been destroyed.
