With more than 40 minutes of delay, the long awaited presidential debate in Koński began, broadcast by TVP, TVN and Polsat. The participants included not only Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki, but besides another candidates who joined at the last minute. How did the discussion proceed and what subjects prevailed?
The culls of organising the debate – why has it delayed?
Leading: Joanna Danikowska-Paź (TVP), Grzegorz Kajdanowicz (TVN) and Piotr Witwicki (Polsat) explained that the organizer of the event was the election staff of Rafał Trzaskowski. On Friday, the KO candidate posted a video on the network stating that "debate needs to be extended" about another candidates going to Horses. Initially, Trzaskowski was to debate only with Karol Nawrocki, who first proposed a meeting.
However, the dispute broke out erstwhile Nawrocki's staff (supported by PiS) demanded tv Republic and Poland24. Trzaskowski did not agree to this, which led to the division. In response, the Republic, in Poland24 and tv Trwam organised their own debate on the marketplace in Koński, which began at 6:50 p.m. with the participation of Nawrocki, Szymon Holownia, Marek Jakubiak, Krzysztof Stanowski and Joanna Senyszyn.

The discussion was divided into 3 thematic blocks: Security, abroad policy and the economy. The candidates exchanged arguments, answering questions leading and commenting on each other's proposals.
Double debate – what does that mean for voters?
The fact that 2 parallel debates took place in Koński shows divisions in the Polish political scene. While 1 group of candidates discussed in the authoritative broadcast of major stations, the another presented its positions in media related to the right. The voters had to decide which version of the event they wanted to look at.
Summary:
The debate in Koński showed that even a pre-election clash could become a field of dispute over expression and media access. Despite delays and divisions, voters had the chance to hear different voices, which is crucial in the context of the upcoming elections. There is no uncertainty that the force on the glass of the participants of the debate organised by the “independent” written tv Republic revealed the low morale of its participants, who are presently participating in the debate of Trzask on the basis of an invitation from 18.20.
