On August 15, 2025, a lot happened in Poland and in the world. As far as our country is concerned, this date is apparent and almost as well known as the conflict of Grunwald 1410. On this day we celebrate a triple national and spiritual holiday: the anniversary of the conflict of Warsaw, the Polish Army Day and the presumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. For many Poles it is simply a peculiar day, unfortunately it besides turned out that on that day there was absurd comments on the speech by Karol Nawrocki, which in an highly balanced and entering political context mentioned Ukrainian participation in the Bolshevik war.
Why would the president do that? Firstly, he is simply a doctor of past and knows what he is saying, and secondly, the president's perfectly political strategy was explained by Sławomir Dębski, although for an average intelligent man, this explanation does not contain any surprises:

President Karol Nawrocki did not want to diminish the Polish heroes to the least extent, and despite absurd allegations, neither did he shout “the fame of Ukraine” nor did he claim that “we are servants of the Ukrainian people”. However, specified arguments do not scope fanatics from all political options, and in this case The most loud and stupid were the fanatic supporters of Grzegorz Braun, which, by the way, was lost during the anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising and the conflict of Warsaw. Meanwhile, this message was aimed primarily at the world, due to the fact that in Poland everyone knows or pretends that they do not know about the large Polish triumph over Bolsheviks. president Nawrocki simply stood on the right side in the armed conflict and not out of love for Ukraine, but due to our national interest.
It is surely not in the Polish interest to repeat the mistakes of 2022, erstwhile we unconditionally gave more than we could and we gagged our own mouth, considering the Volyn massacre as an uncomfortable subject. The consequences of this political naivety are inactive to this day, only that president Karol Nawrocki has criticised this attitude many times and has not accepted it in today's speech. However, he expressed a clear political view that the aggressor was Russia and it was an aggressor that threatened another neighbouring countries, including Poland. The words on supporting Ukraine and at the same time on the fact that Russia can be overcome referred precisely to this aspect. To draw any another conclusions and at the same time to spit slanders on the president of Poland has nothing to do with patriotism, but all this with fanaticism. The level of political analysis performed by Grzegorz Braun's fans would be an absolute negative number one, but American specialists stood in competition.
From the first minute of the summit, “Americans” focused on moralizing and expressing outrage due to the fact that during the Trump-Putin summit, the president of the United States first applauded Putin and then invited him to his limousine. The issue is so trivial that it is adequate to mention to the proverbial freshman, and it is respective directions: political science, psychology, history, marketing. It is the most common in the planet and 1 of the most widely utilized negotiating techniques, which is called "the softening of the opponent".
