Tragic bus accident in Kraków: LPR helicopters on site, 19 injured people

On Monday around 14 o'clock at the intersection of Róż and Rydz-Śmigłego Street in Krakow there was a serious accident. According to Interia, the press officer of the Krakow police, Kom. Piotr Szpiech, the city bus hit a tree and then into another vehicles.

19 victims, 4 in severe condition
A spokesperson for the Krakow State Fire Department, young Captain Hubert Ciepła, reported that 19 people suffered in the event. – Firefighters conducted medical segregation of patients. 4 people were qualified as a "red color", i.e. requiring immediate assistance," he explained. The following 4 were found to have average injuries and 11 were mild wounds.

There were 40 firefighters, 7 medical rescue teams, and police. 2 LPR helicopters were besides involved.
