As all year on the first Sunday after the memory of St Stanislaus – the Krakow bishop and martyr – a solemn procession for the site of the holy execution is set out from the Wawel Cathedral. Manifestation of attachment to the sacred religion and worship of the local patron is accompanied by the reaching of native traditions.

At 9 a.m. on Sunday 11 May, the march departed from the cathedral at St. Stanislaus and Wenceslaus set off towards Kazimierz Skałki. The procession through Krakow streets lasted little than an hour. At 10 o'clock, the Undersecretary of the Dicastery of the Doctrine of Faith, Bishop Philippe Curbelié held on the field altar at the St.

In the pilgrimage, as all year, the faithful were seen in folk costumes, representatives of various spiritual associations and assemblies, as well as bishops. We print pictures showing the beauty of the traditions that the procession of St. Stanislaus embodies.
