Right at 5:00 p.m. 81st anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, sirens in Dzierzoniów sounded in tribute to insurgents and residents of the capital. The celebrations were held at the Solidarity Square, at the Memorial of the failure of Homeland. After singing the anthem and listening to the occasional speech, flowers and lit candles were laid.
After the city celebrations, a group of councillors of the Law and Justice, the Polish Dzierżoniów II paper Club, the Lech Kaczyński Social Movement and the Confederation's National Movement paid tribute to the Warsaw Uprisings at the monument of the Unbreakable Soldiers.

On 1 August 1944, an armed speech of the Polish Underground State against Germans occupying the city began in Warsaw. The uprising was the largest military action of the National Army during planet War II. It lasted 63 days, and its goal was to snatch the Polish capital out of the hands of the Germans in front of the approaching Red Army.
