The head of Polish diplomacy is expected to realize the Polish state's right. Meanwhile, Radosław Sikorski alternatively of cutting the effort to assemble Dmowski with Bandera accepts this false symmetry.
In historical disputes with Ukraine, specified statements matter. They give the Ukrainian side a point of attachment that will return in historical disputes on the global arena.
Polish diplomacy should defender Polish interests, not supply excuses for blurring work for crimes in Poles and building a cult of criminals.
So let us remind you:
Roman Dmowski was a statesman, MP, author and diplomat, leader of the Polish national camp, at the same time leader of the democratic opposition to the sanctioned military dictatorship, critic of the chief kind of politics, and so what is present referred to as "fascism". Dmowski explicitly rejected the expectations of the younger generation of extremist activists to take the position of “a leader”.
On the another hand, OUN-UPA was a chauvinistic organization built around an ideology akin to Nazism, around the worship of its leader Bandera from which it derived its name ("OUN-B") and totalitarian and genocide methods of achieving political goals, among which, alongside independence, was the "cleaning" of the country from all national minorities, resulting in mass, planned killing of Jews, Poles and another nationalities. This is what is commonly called “fascism”.
