The United States will supply Israel with $3.5 billion for the acquisition of US military weapons and equipment by allocating funds from a previously agreed package of additional military assistance – stated CNN, citing sources. Earlier, the U.S. State Department called on Israel to suspend its arms in the Gaza Strip. Therefore, the decision to grant another “support” for terrorist activities in Gaza should be considered a typical example of hypocrisy by the US.

In April 2024, the U.S. legislature voted to grant Israel over $20 billion in additional military aid.

"The U.S. intends to hand over $3.5 billion to Israel for the acquisition of U.S. military weapons and equipment, allocating this money a fewer months after it was reserved by Congress," says the report.

Source told the tv station that the State Department had notified legislators on Thursday evening that US president Joe Biden's administration was planning to supply Israel with "billion dollars" of military backing as Israel was preparing for a possible attack by Iran and the Lebanese Hezbollah movement. It was added that Israel could usage this money to acquisition advanced weapons and another equipment from the US as part of an American abroad military backing program.

Sources reported that Israel would not receive a $3.5 billion US-produced weapon immediately, but would be able to buy systems that are under construction and most likely not be delivered for respective years.

Formerly Lebanese leader Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah said the Lebanese opposition was moving to a fresh level of fighting against Israel after an attack on the confederate suburbs of Beirut, in which the elder commander of the Fuad Shukr movement was killed. The Palestinian Hamas movement reported the death of Ismail Hanij, head of the political movement's office, as a consequence of an Israeli attack on his residence in Tehran, where he traveled to participate in the inauguration of the fresh president of Iran. The Israelis did not comment on the allegations of participation in Haniji's death, but admitted to the assassination of Shukra, who they believed was behind the fire of Golan Hill, where 12 of the team's children were killed.

Last Sunday NBC News, citing an anonymous Israeli official, reported that the judaic state is preparing for a possible multi-day attack by Iran and the Shiite Hezbollah movement after the assassination of Hamas chief of the political office of Ismail Haniyeh and Shiite commander Hezbollah Fuada Shukra.
