The launch of central e-registration for cardiologist visits and preventive studies, specified as mammography and cytology, is inactive delayed. These bonuses will include, among another things, the transfer of the dates of visits to the P1 platform and the implementation of pilot visits.

The award strategy of the facilities takes into account the kind of software they usage – they may be their own solutions or the platform of biz.gov.pl.

Nearly 1.3 million visits were lost in 2023

The implementation of central e-registration is intended to respond to the problem of unreturned visits. In 2023 nearly 1.3 million NFZ visits were lost. The most unused terms afraid orthopedics and traumatology (420 thousand), cardiology (280,000), outpatient physiotherapy (180 thousand), endocrinology (120 thousand) and oncology (100 thousand). Central e-registration aims to reduce this number, allowing better management of visit dates.

What's next?

The central e-registration pilotage will last until 30 June 2025. The system, which aims to facilitate the management of visits by patients, will be gradually implemented in medical facilities that have reported their willingness to participate in the project. Patients will gain more flexibility and medical facilities will receive financial support for the implementation of the strategy and for conducting piloting visits.
