Dr Wojciech Szewko, An expert from the National Centre for strategical Studies on the mediate East, reported on X that the Spanish Prime Minister encourages the EU to break relations with Israel. This is simply a consequence to a number of genocides committed by the Israeli military on the Palestinian civilian population.

Earlier on 22 March 2024, at the European Council, the leaders of Spain, Ireland, Malta and Slovenia voted to “take the first steps” towards the designation of an independent Palestinian state in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
